The 2021 iRacing 12 Hours of Sebring will be remembered by Fischer Motorsport as a race of adversity and hard work. Struggling with a disadvantage by iRacing's latest balance of performance for the event, the No. 84 Porsche team made up a lack of pace with tremendous effort to claim fifth place in the Florida endurance classic.
Pascal Theis led the charge for the team early on after qualifying on the second to last spot on the grid. Y. Hignet proved to be the fuel saving master of the team, completing two excellent 31-lap stints in the event.
Benjamin Fischer forced the issue in GT3 lapped traffic on lap 289 to cause a big collision, that almost blundered away the team's chance at a top-five finish. It was Californian Kyle Birnie who completed a double stint of qualifying-pace laps at the end, to rally the team to a fifth place finish, against all odds.
