Evan Wood started his sim racing career in July of 2012 he first entered iRacing competition.

Always having loved motorsports since he was a kid, he loves in Southern Illinois and grew up watching NASCAR and going to local dirt short tracks on the weekend to watch sprint cars like the World of Outlaws.

Evan didn't venture out to other motorsports until early 2000s when he fell in love with open wheel racing and particularly Rally.

Evan says: "I would probaly say the World Rally Championship is my favorite racing series but I enjoy watching many forms."

His absolue favorite car, he says, is the Lancia Stratos and his favorite track is Sonoma Raceway, also known as Sears Point.

In his time away from the race track Evan enjoys cycling.

For Evan, sim racing didnt get serious until around 2019 when he picked up Dirt Rally 2.0 and had lots of success with this title. This was around the same period Evan started road racing full-time on iRacing and the oval racing soon after.

In August 2021, after deciding to take his sim racing career into GT team endurance racing and after competing with Fischer Motorsport in the 2021 iRacing 24 Hours of Le Mans and iRacing 24 Hours of Spa, Evan officially joined the organization to as a GT driver.
