The iRacing Endurance Le Mans Series heads into its 2020 season 2 finale on Saturday. Fischer Motorsport will once again be well represented with two Porsche 911 RSR GTE and a lineup of five drivers in the 6 Hours of Le Mans. The race will serve as a dress rehearsal for the iRacing 24 Hours of Le Mans in three weeks.

As the calendar is about to turn the page to June and with summer just around the corner, the iRacing Endurance Le Mans Series heads into its final championship round of 2020 Season 2 this Saturday.

Fittingly, the series wraps up the six-race season on its home track in Le Mans and Fischer Motorsport will compete with two Porsche 911 RSR GTE in the six hour event. Manuel Mayer and Pascal Theis will share driving duties in the No. 84 Porsche, coming off a strong fourth place finish at Silverstone two weeks ago. The team's second entry will be lead by team founder Benjamin Fischer and U.S. American team-mates Aaron DePoy and Kyle Birnie.

With the 24 Hours of Le Mans just three weeks away, Saturday's event will serve as a dress rehearsel for the team, before heading back to the legendary French race track for one of the most prestigious events in all of racing on June 20th.

The 13.63 km long Circui des 24 Heures du Mans, also called Circuit de la Sarthe, features the long top-speed Mulsanne straight, so horsepower will be important in Saturday's race.

"Well, It's not for a lack of horsepower when you're driving a Porsche. But seriously, we think iRacing has done a good job on the balance of performance. Everything looks like it's a pretty level playing field. Last year we definitely felt we were at a disadvantage. But this year it's much better. We are feeling pretty good about our setup. Hopefully we can give the fans a good show and get a good result for both cars.", Fischer said on Friday.

A field of 55 cars consisting of three different classes - LMP1 and LMP2 prototypes and GTE sports cars - will take the green flag on Saturday at 20:15 CEST / 2:15 pm EDT as the ELMS season draws to a close.

Fischer Motorsport will provide live streaming from inside both Porsche cars, so fans and friends can follow all the racing action live from onboard the car. The live stream will be available on the team's YouTube channel.
